“Ghost Girl” on magazine page

Ghost girl - pencil pastel drawing paintingSome days you just want to draw but you haven’t got the faintest idea what to make … today was such a day

So I sat at my desk just looking at things, picking things up, putting things down … until I went through a stack of old papers and magazines. There I found an old Daphne’s Diary, a great Dutch magazine. I just took it and ripped out a page with a rose branch I liked. I folded the page in half and glued it together with Mod Podge. Then I put a thin layer of Golden Absorbent ground on the page and let it al dry. I drew her with Graphite Pencil and did the coloring with Derwent- and Caran d’Ache Pastel Pencils.

I think she’s a sweet little Ghost Girl
