“My Lucky Number” Mixed Media

My Lucky number - girl mixed media drawing painting

In februari of this year I went to a thrift store. My visit to a thrift store is nothing special, but what I found there was.

I was looking for some old tins to store bits and pieces and I found a few. In one of them there was what was left of an old bingo game, a few cards and some wooden chips with numbers.

Of course I had to use them in a little mixed media project

Again I’ve used a piece of junk cardboard, about 10×10 cm, ( I love to work on that! ) and glued some scraps of paper onto it using Gel Medium. I’ve used a stencil with ecoline to make the flowers.
Her face I drew on a piece of sketching paper, colored it with Prismacolor pencils, and glued it on together with her bingo dress.

The white around the girl is done with Faber-Castell Pitt artist pen and the little white drops with Molotow acrylic pen. I’ve used a stamp and all purpose stamp ink for the edges. The words “My Lucky number’s wrong” I did with rub-on letters, also bought at the thrift store

Have a very nice and lucky day!
